The "Maronite Renaissance list" headed by Dr. Joseph Torbey and his deputy Dr. Francois Bassil won unopposed in the elections on Saturday, April 10th 2010. In addition to the president and his deputy, the list was comprised of Mr. Hafez Zakhour, H.E. The General Assembly Meeting of the Maronite League was held on December 14, 2008 in the presence of the Maronite League's President Dr. Joseph Torbey, the Members of the Executive Council and 315 other members. During the meeting, three new members were elected: Mr. Antonio Andari, Mr. Antoine Wakim and Mr. Charles El-Hajj.
